Lake Oconee Limo respects your privacy and is committed to protecting the personal information you share with us. This policy explains what we collect, how we use and protect it, and when we share it when you visit our website, contact us, or book transportation. By using our website or requesting our services, you agree to the practices described here.

1. Information We Collect

We collect personal information you provide when requesting a quote, making a reservation, contacting us, or using our services, including:

  • Your name, email address, and phone number
  • Pickup and drop-off locations, travel dates, pickup times, and other reservation details
  • Passenger information needed to coordinate your transportation
  • Payment and transaction information needed to confirm and process your reservation
  • Anything else you choose to tell us

When you visit our website, technical information such as your IP address, browser type, device information, and pages visited may be collected through website hosting, security, analytics, or similar technologies.

2. How We Use Your Information

We use your information to:

  • Process and manage reservations and coordinate pickup and drop-off
  • Process payments, charges, and refunds
  • Send reservation confirmations and trip reminders
  • Communicate important information about your scheduled transportation
  • Respond to inquiries and customer service requests
  • Maintain website functionality, improve our services, and protect against fraud or misuse
  • Comply with legal and regulatory obligations

We use your information only as reasonably necessary for these purposes and as otherwise permitted by law.

3. Reservation Emails and Text Messages

When you make a reservation, you will receive a trip reminder email approximately 24 hours before your scheduled pickup. You will also receive a courtesy reminder email and text message approximately two hours before pickup. These reminders include your driver’s name and cell phone number.

By providing your contact information when you reserve, you authorize us to use it for booking confirmations, trip reminders, and other communications related to your transportation service. These messages support your reservation and are not promotional. If we ever send marketing messages, we will do so only with any consent required by law and with an opt-out option.

You can opt out of text messages at any time by replying STOP. Message and data rates may apply. Opting out of texts does not cancel your reservation.

4. Payment Information

A credit or debit card payment is required to confirm a reservation. We use payment information to process transactions, confirm bookings, and handle charges and refunds. Payment processing may involve third-party payment service providers, whose privacy practices apply to information you submit through them. We collect only the payment information reasonably needed to complete the transaction.

We do not sell your personal information.

We share information only as reasonably necessary with:

  • Service providers that help with payment processing, website hosting, communications, security, or other business operations
  • Drivers and other authorized personnel who need reservation details to provide your service and coordinate pickup
  • Legal and regulatory authorities when required by law, legal process, or a valid governmental request
  • Business successors in connection with a merger, acquisition, restructuring, or transfer of business assets
